Two weeks and one day before we leave for Ghana. Almost done shopping I hope, one more shot to get since we hear there is an outbreak of meningitis in Ghana, and several projects to finish here at home before I leave. God's provision for this mission trip has been amazing. He has provided all the monies needed and then some. The next big task will be the packing. Beth and I are going to try to put all our things in one checked bag and our carry-ons. That will free up another bag for the extras that will be going with us.
I was diagnosed with gastritis three weeks ago. I have been on medication and a bland diet and am pretty much symptom free now. Not sure what caused it, but it could be the excitement and ,yes, I admit it, the stress of my upcoming adventure. This too is in God's hands.
He is the Lord of my life and I am going to Ghana out of obedience to His wishes. How is He going to change me? How is He going to use this trip for my future? How will my going bring honor and glory to His name? You will just have to stay tuned to my blog to find out.
I am so excited to be on this journey with you! The time is going so fast!! I am praying for us daily. God will provide for us!!
